Western Visayas records 3 new cases of Covid-19
Western Visayas has recorded three new cases of the novel coronavirus (Covid-19), raising the region’s tally to 16.
The new cases were from Bacolod City, Negros Occidental and Iloilo province, according to the Department of Health (DOH) Region 6.
Here’s a brief description of the new cases:
*Patient 14 – a 28-year-old male from Bacolod City with a travel history to the United States
*Patient 15 – a 41-year-old female from Negros Occidental with a history of travel to Manila and Davao City
*Patient 16 – a 70-year-old male from Iloilo province with no history of travel to areas with Covid-19 cases and with no known exposure to a COVID-19-positive case (https://bit.ly/2wAtyPi)
As of 5 p.m., March 28, DOH-6 recorded a total of 302 patients under investigation or those showing symptoms of Covid-19. Of the figure, 127 tested negative for COVID-19; 78 have been discharged while 101 others still in hospitals.
A total of 14,992 out of 42,432 persons under monitoring or those with a history of travel to areas with Covid-19 cases already completed their 14-day home quarantine.
