VP Sara to endorse Kabankalan tourism rest stops to DOT

POLITIKO - The bible of Philippine Politics.
Vice President Sara Duterte has assured support for the Tourism Recovery Jumpstart of Kabankalan City, three years after the Covid-19 pandemic crippled the Philippine economy.
When she learned that Kabankalan City is interested in establishing tourism rest stops, Duterte informed Mayor Benjie Miranda and his constituents that she will endorse it to the Department of Tourism.
The former Davao City mayor also advised Kabankalan City to look into its tourism strength, such as food, nightlife, mountains, seas, or religious sites. (https://bit.ly/3TeAA1Y)
This will entice the people to come back again and again, open opportunities for Kabankalan, she added.
Duterte also urged the local government units and the private sector to collaborate and the institutionalization of tourism programs to ensure its continuity despite the changing of leadership.
