Negros Occidental Vice Governor Jeffrey Ferrer asked provincial board members to preserve order and decorum during their sessions.

On Tuesday, Ferrer suspended the session after Provincial Board members Sixto Guanzon and Manman Ko almost got in a heated argument.

“Cool lang. Every day is a learning process,” he said. (

The incident happened as Guanzon delivered a privilege speech on resolutions and ordinances forwarded by municipal governments to the provincial board for action.

Ko then asked Guanzon about the agenda of the speech. The latter replied that Ko was not listening to his speech.

“Maybe it was just miscommunication,” said Ferrer, adding that some in the audience had difficulty listening to the speech because of the poor sound quality from the speaker.
