VG Ferrer named as Marcos Jr. ‘s ‘personal adviser’ for WV
Negros Occidental Vice Governor Jeffrey Ferrer has been appointed by President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. as his “personal adviser” for Western Visayas.
The appointment took effect on Wednesday, when Ferrer met with Marcos Jr., House Speaker Ferdinand Martin Romualdez, and several other lawmakers.
According to him, he accepted the position without pay and that he had no intention of resigning as vice governor of Negros Occidental. (https://bit.ly/3br77k1)
Ferrer thanked the President for his trust and confidence in him.
As “personal adviser,” he has direct access to the President and would bring pressing issues in Western Visayas to his attention, the vice governor said.
