UNegA a ‘strong political force’ in next polls: Mayor Escalante
Cadiz City Mayor Salvador Escalante, Jr. said the United Negros Alliance (UNegA), one of the major political parties in Negros Occidental, is “a force in the coming elections.”
Escalante made the statement during the gathering of UNegA members at Nature’s Village Resort in Talisay City last week.

Escalante, UNegA secretary-general, said the gathering allowed members to see that the former government was doing well.
“The former governor (Marañon) emphasized that the party will continue to exist even though he is no longer in public office,” he added.
