Treñas hopes for more infra projects in Duterte’s last 3 years
More infrastructure projects will be implemented in Iloilo City in the next three years of the Duterte administration, said Mayor Jerry Treñas.
Treñas said infrastructure projects have been successfully implemented in the city over the past three years.
“Well, for the past three years, aside from the fact that we were able to get rid of the big drug lords and reduce the supply of drugs in the city, infrastructure projects have been implemented here in the city. I hope, this infrastructure projects will further increase,” added the politiko.
The local chief executive also stressed the need to complete some unfinished national roads in Iloilo City.
The city, he added, needs more infrastructure projects such as vehicle overpass like the one in Barangay Tacas in Jaro district.
Treñas also pushed for the maintenance of the city’s floodway with the help of Rep. Julienne Baronda.
“There are still so many infrastructure projects that we can request from the national government and hopefully through Congresswoman Julienne Baronda we can bring them here,” he said.
