Travelers from Bohol, Negros need a negative COVID test to enter Mandaue
Mandaue City is now requiring individuals coming from Bohol and Negros to present negative RT-PCR or Rapid Antigen test result to enter the metro.
Mayor Jonas Cortes issued Executive Order No. (EO) 19, requiring all travellers coming from the provinces of Bohol, Negros Occidental, and Negros Oriental that will visit the city to present a negative COVID test result taken within 72 hours or a negative Rapid Antigen test results taken 48 hours before departure from their place of origin.

The move is in accordance with Cebu Governor Gwendolyn Garcia’s EO 22 to create uniformity and avoid confusion to travellers to the province, the EO said.
It also cited the consistent rise of Covid-19 cases in the neighboring provinces.
As of June 13, Negros Oriental had 3,134 active infections while Bohol had 1,339.
