‘Riding in tandem’ shoots ex-drug suspect to death in Iloilo
A drug surrenderee was gunned down by two unidentified men in Barangay Ingore, Lapaz, Iloilo City Friday.
Police said the victim, Rolando Puda Jr., 41, succumbed to multiple gunshot wounds in different parts of his body.
The suspects fled on a motorcycle, according to Chief Inspector Ariel Pico, chief of police of Lapaz Police Station.
Detectives recovered six empty shells from the crime scene.
In 2016, Puda surrendered to authorities under the Philippine National Police’s “Oplan Tokhang.”
