This is how Lucy Torres said goodbye to 2019
It was a very relaxed afternoon to end an eventful year.
Ormoc Rep. Lucy Torres-Gomez wanted to chill out after a busy year, so she spent New Year’s eve relaxing at home.
The last of 2019 was spent with her and husband Mayor Richard Gomez hanging out under a tree, checking on the backyard chickens, and chatting with her brothers Matt and Jules.
“Cheers to the New Year. And may the coming decade be gentle and kind, and many shades of wonderful,” the politiko said.

The last afternoon of the decade. Spent quietly and at home, in Ormoc City where I grew up. I wrote out more Christmas cards, made friends with the chicken and geese in our backyard, enjoyed the warmth of blue skies and a yellow sun. When dusk settled my brothers Matt and Jules came by and we hung out for a bit, talking about nothing and everything, while I filled out random pages of a little book I’ve had forever. Cheers to the New Year. And may the coming decade be gentle and kind, and many shades of wonderful.♥️
