Support Gwen admin, Davide tells Capitol employees
Outgoing Cebu Governor Hilario Davide III encouraged Capitol workers to support the administration of Governor-elect Gwen Garcia, The Freeman reported.
In his speech during the commemoration of the 121st Philippine Independence, Davide asked department heads to help incoming governor Gwendolyn Garcia achieve her executive agenda.
The vice governor-elect also expressed willingness to cooperate with the incoming administration as the incoming presiding officer of the Provincial Board.
Garcia earlier ordered Davide to stop the construction of the 20-storey resource center in Capitol.
She also requested him to avoid “midnight” transactions within the remaining days of the transition period.
