STL is coming: PCSO allows game in Iloilo

Small Town Lottery is coming to Iloilo, after the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office allowed it, an Iloilo news site reported.

A report on The Daily Guardian said the PCSO had chosen a STL franchisee in Iloilo but the provincial government is still waiting for word from the PCSO on the franchisee.

Citing an Iloilo Capitol source, The Daily Guardian said the franchise owners will be meeting with Governor Arthur Defensor on Jan. 31.

The PCSO had allowed STL in Iloilo City in 2006.

Under the STL sharing scheme, 10 percent of the revenue goes to the host city or town, five percent to the provincial government, 2.5 percent to a congressional district and five percent to the police.
