The return of the Saulog Festival in Tagbilaran City this April is expected to help the city’s and the Bohol province’s tourism industries fully recover from the effects of Covid-19 pandemic.

Tourism recovery also translates into economic recovery, according to Mayor Jane Yap.

“Now that we are back to [holding] face to face activities, this is our avenue to promote the tourism industry of Bohol and our beloved city of Tagbilaran,” said Yap. (https://bit.ly/3JPCRxf)

“So, we are inviting our guests from all over the world. Again we will now be celebrating Saulog Tagbilaran 2023, please visit us,” she added.

The city mayor said the city’s tourism industry is “nearing full recovery.”

Meanwhile, Yap said the international airport in the neighboring town of Panglao would accommodate more than 16 flights per day to bring tourists into and out of Bohol, where Tabliran City is the capital city.

“Our pier in Tagbilaran, our own seaport, there are also trips every hour,” she added.
