Sato to public servants: Be professional, dedicated amid ‘political noise’

Occidental Mindoro Rep. Josephine Ramirez-Sato advised government workers and public servants to continue to strive for professional excellence in spite of political divisions in the country.

“Amidst the political noise, more professional, dedicated public servants and bureaucrats are the guarantees in ensuring stability and in achieving good governance that will sustain economic growth and development,” she said in a speech upon receiving an award for her congressional work from Superbrands Marketing International Inc.

Sato is a ranking member of the Liberal Party and a member of the powerful Commission on Appointments.

“As public servants, we must always strive hard in performing our sworn duties, whether as national or local government officials,” she said.

“We must strive harder and always adhere to the highest standard of excellence,” Sato said.
