Sara distributes aid to oil spill-affected residents in Caluya
Vice President Sara Duterte-Carpio distributed relief goods and assistance to residents affected by the oil spill in Caluya, Antique last Monday.
The Office of the Vice President provided food boxes containing rice and canned goods to 1,200 residents from Barangay Alegria, Sitio Sabang, Barangay Tinogboc, Sitio Liwagao, Barangay Sibolo, and Barangay Semirara.
Duterte-Carpio also handed out PagbaBAGo kits containing school supplies to 991 students from six Caluya schools. (https://bit.ly/3Jdou4k)
Teachers at the Tinogboc Elementary School also received cash aid of P2,000 each.
The Vice President also joined the distribution of Assistance to Individuals in Crisis Situations by the Department of Social Welfare and Development, where each of the 865 families got P8,112.
