Roxas City wins 3 awards at Cities and Municipalities Competitiveness Index Awards

Roxas City in Capiz province won three awards at the 6th Regional Cities and Municipalities Competitiveness Index (CMCI) Awards for Competitive LGUs held by the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) Region 6.

These were Most Improved LGU (Component City) – 2nd place (rank 10 out of 113 component city LGU’s in the Philippines); Infrastructure Pillar – 2nd place (rank 47 out of 113 component city LGU’s in the Philippines ); and Innovation Pillar – 2nd place (rank 30 out of 113 component city LGU’s in the Philippines).

Mayor Ronnie Dadivas accepted the awards alongside Vice Mayor Teresa Almalbis, Councilor Pip Acepcion, city administrator Love Usison, city legal officer Antonio Bisnar, and Juvy Benliro of DTI-Capiz at the Park Inn by Radisson in Iloilo City. (https://bit.ly/3ETmg9D)

CMCI is an annual ranking of Philippine cities and municipalities developed by the National Competitiveness Council through Regional Competitiveness Committees with assistance from the United States Agency for International Development.

This year’s theme is “Revitalizing Regional Competitiveness”.
