Romualdez ‘proud’ of Cayetano’s high trust, approval rating
House Majority Leader Martin Romualdez expressed the House’s collective pride in Speaker Alan Peter Cayetano for registering high approval and trust rating based on Pulse Asia’s September Ulat ng Bayan survey.
“The leadership of the House of Representatives is elated with the result of the latest Pulse Asia survey showing majority of our people’s approval of the hard work done by our Speaker, Allan Peter Cayetano, in the last three months,” the Leyte lawmaker said.
Cayetano posted a 64-percent approval rating in the survey with 30 percent undecided and 6 percent disapproval.
His trust rating stood at 62 percent with 9 percent distrusting him and 29 percent undecided.
“This is the first time that Speaker Cayetano has been rated by the Filipino people through the Pulse Asia’s Ulat sa Bayan survey, and we are collectively proud of our leader’s exemplary trust and approval rating,” Romualdez said.
“Truly, nothing warms the heart of public servants more than the appreciation of our constituents,” he said.
“The trust and approval extended by our countrymen to Speaker Cayetano will definitely prompt all of us in the House of Representatives to work harder in the legislative mill in the days to come,” Romualdez said.
