There are two elements in the recipe for success.

Actor turned Ormoc Mayor Richard Gomez joined fellow celebrities in a special dinner hosted by President Rodrigo Duterte in Malacañang just before the polls.

The hunky mayor shared the table with Duterte and actor Robin Padilla. While the program was ongoing, Gomez and Duterte shared a little chat about Ormoc’s journey towards being a drug-free city.

“Last night I asked him to continue his support to make Ormoc Drug-free. He told me to continuously work it out w the Police force and the Army to eliminate the drug problem and maintain Ormoc a safe city,” Gomez recalled.

Here are wise words from Duterte as well: “He also said that a city can only be drug cleared if the Mayor and the Police force do not want drugs in his area.”

To which Gomez agreed: “True.”
