Passi City dad worries of surge in COVID cases
The number of coronavirus disease (Covid-19) cases at the public market of Passi City worries Mayor Stephen Palmares.
Palmares said Covid-19 infected 84 vendors at the public market.
“We are waiting for more test results of vendors who were among the 600 individuals swabbed on Wednesday,” he added. (https://bit.ly/3ptVqL8)
The infected vendors were immediately isolated at the city’s quarantine facility.
To further stem the virus from spreading, Palmares implemented a two-week enhanced community quarantine, the government’s most stringent quarantine classification.
The mayor also urged his constituents to religiously follow public health safety protocols such as wearing of facemask and face shield, social distancing and proper handwashing.
