Parang kotse lang! Leonardia imposes quarantine pass ‘coding’ in Bacolod
Heading out of the house in Bacolod City just got more complicated.
Mayor Evelio “Bing” Leonardia wanted to limit crowds even in groceries or supermarkets, so he’s imposing a coding scheme even for home quarantine passes.
The politiko said all pass holders with an odd number ending can only head out to get supplies on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays between 4 am to 10 pm. The even numbers get the rest of the week: Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday.
No one is allowed to leave home every Sunday. The politiko clarified that health workers are exempted from these rules.
