P60M allotted for COVID vaccines in Roxas City

The Sanggunian Panlungsod (SP) of Roxas City allocated P60 million for the procurement of coronavirus (Covid-19) vaccines that will be administered to 70 percent of residents.

Mayor Ronnie Dadivas said he hoped that the national government will augment their vaccine funds.

The mayor thanked the city council for approving the supplemental budget taken from the 2019 savings and 2020 surplus. (https://bit.ly/2N2f16K)

According to him, health workers, uniformed personnel, social workers, government and non-government frontliners, senior citizens and indigent population will get priority for vaccines.

Dadivas said the budget also covers the transportation, logistics, equipment, supplies and storage facility of the vaccines.
