‘No ID, No entry’ policy in effect in Bacolod
Starting this weekend, Bacolod City will enforce a “No ID, No Entry” policy to prevent the spread of COVID-19.
Mayor Evelio Leonardia said employees working in the city have to present an ID or a certificate of employment, or they cannot pass through checkpoints in the city.
The ID and/or the certificate of employment must be presented at the entry and exit checkpoints around the city (https://dailyguardian.com.ph/no-id-no-entry-policy-in-bacolod-starting-today/).
It will be required for out of town employees who work in Bacolod during their work days and Bacolod residents who report for work outside the city.
Covered by the policy are private medical/health workers who perform their duties, people providing basic services, egressing and returning delivery personnel of business establishments based either in Bacolod City or out of town.
