NegOcc keeping travel curbs despite NCR alert level downgrade
Negros Occidental will retain its current travel protocols despite the downgrading of quarantine measures in Metro Manila, Governor Eugenio Jose Lacson said.
The National Capital Region (NCR) and its surrounding areas were de-escalated to Alert Level 2 from February 1 until February 15.
Lacson said passengers bound for Negros Occidental will be required to present a negative rapid antigen test within 48 hours of their scheduled departure. (https://bit.ly/3GaqGpW)
The rule applies to all travelers entering the province via the Bacolod-Silay Airport in Silay City, and the BREDCO Port in Bacolod City.
Travelers will also have the option to get the rapid antigen test upon their arrival, according to the governor.
He said the option must be indicated by the travelers when applying via the S-PaSS system.
