Nagtitipid ba? Abellanosa tells Cebu City should taps hotels as quarantine centers

It’s one year into the local COVID-19 outbreak and Cebu City seems to remain fumbling in the dark.

Congressman Rodrigo “Bebot” Abellanosa found the city’s strategy for patient isolation wanting and considered it as another factor for the high infection rate there.

“If there is even a budget from the DOH and LGU for each Covid-positive to be placed in the isolation center but not provided with proper facilities and services, would it be better for the Cebu City Hall / Mayor to negotiate through the MOA on small hotels and pension houses?,” the politiko said in the vernacular in yet another post criticizing the local government.

“It can alleviate the anxiety of Covid-positive people and their families. It will also help to revitalize the businesses and economy of our City,” he added.
