Mayor lays down development plan for Roxas City
Roxas City Mayor Ronnie Dadivas lined up his three-year development plan during the recent three-day Executive Legislative Agenda (ELA) and Capacity Development Workshop.
His seven-point agenda are free maintenance medicines for hypertensive and diabetic indigent senior citizens; year-round school feeding program for wasted and severely wasted school children; service caravan in barangays; PhilHealth insurance for day care workers, barangay health workers, barangay officials and barangay tanods; educational assistance to qualified college students; Roxas City Heritage Zone Interactive Landmark Lighting; and the redevelopment of Roxas City plaza.
The Sangguniang Panlungsod (SP) members present at the ELA workshop have pledged their support the programs and projects that are geared towards the total development and progress of Roxas City.
SP member Albert Gregory Potato said they will pass appropriate ordinances that will complement the programs of the executive.
Of his seven priority agenda, Dadivas noted that the conduct of service caravan in barangays and the interactive landmark lighting will be his top priorities.
“Through the service caravan, we bring the government directly to the people through our medical, dental, social, birth registration and a lot more of services,” he added.
