MassKara street, arena dance champ to win P1 million

The champion of the street and arena dance competition for this year’s MassKara Festival will receive P1 million in cash prize.

Councilor Jason Villarosa, chairperson of the Committee on Tourism, already submitted the list of prizes for the winners of the street and arena dance competition and Electric MassKara.

“The prizes for the runners-up have yet to be determined,” he added.

Seventeen barangays will compete in the street and arena dance competition, and 15 will compete in the Electric MassKara.

The Bacolod Yuhum Foundation Inc., this year’s festival organizer, will provide the funds for the prizes after the Sangguniang Panlungsod approved their accreditation.
