Martin Romualdez tells fellow solons to do self-quarantine after foreign travel

Leyte Rep. Martin Romualdez pulled his Majority Leader designation as he announced that his fellow lawmakers must do self-quarantine if they travelled abroad recently, in order to stop the spread of the novel coronavirus. The order also extends to staff, consultants, and visitors entering the Batasan.

“Dito, members, employees, consultants, contractors, suppliers, visitors, and guests are ‘highly recommended’ to practice self-quarantine for 14 days upon arrival in our country, lalo na if they have travelled to countries with documented cases of the 2019-nCoV,” he said.
