Marañon to scholars: Hurdle challenges, achieve life goals
Sagay City Mayor Alfredo Marañon of Negros Occidental province challenged the new scholars of the Alfredo G. Marañon Jr. Scholarship Program to overcome obstacles and achieve the goals they set for themselves.
During a general assembly at Balay Kauswagan Friday, Marañon said that the scholars should always get the opportunity to study, “especially that we are now in these trying times.”
“It is our willpower to hurdle these trying times. We need to persevere and adjust. We need to be grateful that we are here and alive and have this opportunity,” he added. (https://bit.ly/3lgeJV9)
