Mar Roxas denies any link to ‘double-your-money’ scheme
Ex-interior secretary Mar Roxas denied endorsing any investment or financial product and service in Capiz.
Roxas said he had no connection with Patrocenio C. Chiyuto a.k.a. Don Chiyuto a.k.a. Don Zhang Lee Chiyuto and the Chiyuto Creative Wealth Document Facilitation Services (CCWDFS) or the so-called Chiyuto Double-Your-Money Scheme.
“I do not know him. I am not affiliated in any way connected with him or his business,” the former secretary said in a statement. (https://bit.ly/2XNcDmd)
Roxas asked his provincemates to be careful and avoid people who say that he is connected with their money-making schemes.
He likewise advised them to spend their money more wisely as these are their hard-earned savings.
“Look for authentic, up-to-date registrations and certificates of compliance from the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas, Department of Trade and Industry, Department of Labor and Employment, Insurance Commission, mayors’ permit, etc. as appropriate; and check kung may na-isyung advisory o warning ang mga government agencies tungkol sa mga lumalapit sa inyo,” according to him.
Based on its August 18, 2020 advisory, SEC said CCWDFS “is not registered with the Commission either as a corporation or as a partnership.”
