Malala pa sa nat’l gov’t! Iloilo may use 2018 budget ’til March 2019
Iloilo province will have to wait until March before its executive budget for 2019 is approved.
The Provincial Board based its forecast on the timeline presented by its committee on appropriations chaired by Dorothy Paes.
Based on the schedule, the committee will tackle from Jan. 30 to Feb. 1 the budgets of the Sangguniang Panlalawigan, Public Employment and Services Office, Provincial Veterinary Office, Iloilo Sports Development and Management, Provincial Governor’s (Administrative Services), Governors-Administrative supports service (parks and grounds), and the Internal Audit Service.
From Feb. 6 to 7, it will take up the budgets of the Provincial Culture, Arts, History and Tourism Office; Provincial Social Welfare & Development Office; Human Resource Management and Development Office; Public Attorney’s Office; Municipal Circuit Trial Court (MCTC); and the Provincial Engineer’s Office.
On Feb. 13 to 15, the board will discuss the Provincial Accountant’s Office, Provincial Treasurer’s Office, Provincial Budget Office, Department of Interior and Local Government (DILG)-Iloilo, Provincial Health Office, Hospital Management Office.
Meanwhile, the committee will tackle the budgets of the Provincial Auditor, Provincial Assessor’s, Information and Communication Technology Office, Provincial Environment and Natural Resources Office, the Provincial Legal Office and the Bids and Awards Committee Feb. 20 to 22.
The Provincial Administrator’s Office, Provincial Task Force on Road Safety and Task Force on Overloading, San Joaquin Mother and Child Hospital, Provincial Planning and Development Office, Provincial Agriculture’s Office, Provincial Population Office and the Provincial Disaster and Risk Management Office are scheduled Feb. 27 to March 1.
Paes was on an official leave on Jan 22.
