Loren is Antiqueños’ top choice for Congress: survey
If the election were held today, Senator Loren Legarda would win the congressional race in Antique province.
A recent Random Access Consultants, Inc. survey showed that 71.7 percent of Antiquenos will vote for Legarda to be the representative of Antique’s lone district.
Her opponent, former Governor Exequiel Javier got a preferential rating of only 24.7 percent. Just 3.6 percent were undecided.
“I am humbled and inspired by my fellow Antiqueños’ trust in me. I would really like to continue helping my beautiful province, the home of the forebears,” the politiko said.
On elected in Congress, Legarda promised to improve the living conditions of her “kasimanwa.”
“Antique is a beautiful, rich and pristine province. I want to make sure that the people of my province are not left out and that the programs of government are actually benefitting the people,” she added.
