Lacson says he’s neither with Sara nor Leni
Governor Eugenio Jose Lacson of Negros Occidental has categorically denied pushing either Vice President Leni Robredo or Davao City Mayor Sara Duterte-Carpio to run for president in 2022.
This, after tarpaulins urging Duterte-Carpio to run in the 2022 presidential elections have been displayed in prominent areas in Bacolod City and some areas in the province.
The “Run Sara Run” tarps appeared after the Negros Leni for President movement was launched by multi-sectoral organizations led by former governor Rafael Coscolluela. (https://bit.ly/3bnMwtL)
“I am not part of any of the two (groups),” clarified Lacson.
The governor said he will just wait after they file their certificate of candidacy before making a choice.
