Labella wants Cebu City downgraded to GCQ
Mayor Edgar Labella does not want the city to be the odd man out in the country as quarantine rules are relaxed.
The politiko was against singling out Cebu City to remain under tight modified enhanced community quarantine come June, so the politiko appealed to Malacañang to instead be placed under general quarantine like Metro Manila.
“Our case fatality rate remains at 1% while our recovery rate is already at 22% and we are seeing a downtrend on our COVID19 cases. I really hope that IATF will grant our request,” Labella said.
Cebu City has seen cases spike in recent weeks, but he believes they have gotten the scene under control.
