Labella pays P10,000 to Cebu City private health workers
It’s his way of saying thanks for their help in fighting COVID-19.
Cebu City Mayor Edgar Labella delivered his promise to provide cash benefits even to private sector health workers who have helped in the COVID-19 fight.
The politiko gave out P10,000, the first tranche of a P30,000 benefit to 1,800 frontliners “for their service to COVID-19 patients and for helping us flatten the curve in Cebu City.”
Workers in nine private hospitals will receive the cash, starting with the Cebu Doctors University and Chong Hua Hospital today.
“I express my sincerest gratitude to all of the frontliners for their unselfish dedication. I also would like to recognize the Ramon Aboitiz Foundation, Inc. (RAFI) for helping the Cebu City Government to come up with the list of qualified recipients,” the politiko added.
