Labella: No decision yet on liquor ban
Mayor Edgardo Labella has yet to decide whether or not to lift the liquor ban amid the decline in the number of active Covid-19 cases in Cebu City.
He needs one to two weeks to make the assessment and come up with a decision, according to Labella.
The city mayor also appealed for understanding from business owners. (https://bit.ly/3wElbfu)
The liquor ban, he added, has been effective in bringing down the rate of COVID infections in the city.
Latest data from the Emergency Operation Center showed that Cebu City currently has 949 active cases. Its positivity rate was at 5.89 percent as of April 6.
