Jonathan Cabrera takes shot at vice governor’s race in Aklan
Seasoned broadcaster Jonathan Cabrera is vying to challenge Aklan Vice Governor Reynaldo “Boy” Quimpo in the 2022 elections.
Board Member Immanuel “Noli” Sodusta is also running for vice governor.
Cabrera filed his candidacy at the provincial Comelec on Friday, under the People’s Reform Party of the late Senator Miriam Defensor-Santiago. (https://bit.ly/3arzCK9)

In 2010, Cabrera independently ran and won as Councilor of the Municipality of Malay, during which he authored various measures aimed at promoting and improving Boracay Island’s tourism sector, and environment protection and preservation.
