He is counting on this woman to keep the peace and love in the city.

Mayor Jose Espinosa III wrapped up celebrations for the Dinagyang Festival with a bang, as he was chosen to grace the coronation night for the Jaro Carnival Queen.

The politiko helped crown Heather Angelique Parangan that night and named her an “Ambassadress of Goodwill.”

“Our Jaro Carnival Queen 2019 symbolizes the showcase of achievement of our dear children, making their parents equally proud, and serving as role models to inspire others to become the best that they can be,” Espinosa said to inspire the ladies of the crowd.

“We are honoring our Carnival Queen, the symbol of strength, beauty, and success of our people. Congratulations and I wish you all the best, Queen Heather!”
