Iloilo soon to open first molecular lab
The first molecular laboratory at the Iloilo Provincial Hospital (IPH) in Pototan town may start processing specimens for coronavirus disease (Covid-19) testing starting next week.
The provincial government-funded P19-million molecular laboratory, which is waiting for a license to operate from the Department of Health, was inaugurated yesterday. It is projected to have a capacity of making 200 tests per day.
Governor Arthur Defensor Jr., said the molecular laboratory was not an easy assignment. (https://bit.ly/2KAKYBP)
