ibang level rumaket! Teen, minor sell shabu in Iloilo
A teen and a minor from Bacolod City were caught selling methamphetamine (shabu) in the Mandurriao district of Iloilo City over the weekend, police said.
Police said they arrested three suspects – one of them a 17-year-old minor – who are residents of Barangay Banago in Bacolod City, in a sting operation.
They initially identified two of the three as Christian Gayoso, 20; and Joemel Flores, 19 (https://dailyguardian.com.ph/three-teens-nabbed-for-shabu-peddling/).
Mandurriao police chief Police Major Marlon Valencia said the three suspects were arrested 1:30 a.m. Saturday near a membership-shopping club in Barangay San Rafael.
Investigation showed Gayoso was the subject of the operation while Flores and Nonoy worked for him on a commission basis.
Seized from the three were six plastic sachets of suspected shabu and P15,500 buy-bust money.
Valencia said Gayoso admitted to have been into the trade for about a year already. He has a supplier in Bacolod City and he personally delivered drugs to buyers in Iloilo City.
Sometimes, their transaction took place near Dumangas wharf in Iloilo province.
Both Gayoso and Flores are now detained while the minor was turned over to the custody of the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD).
