Hindi sa Camarines Sur kundi sa Cebu: Naga City opens multi-million training center
A new P16.3-million skills training center has been set up in Cebu to help residents learn skills for alternative livelihoods.
The new 27-room Cebu Provincial Skills Training Center was inaugurated in Barangay Inayagan in Naga City last Feb. 21.
Cebu Gov. Hilario Davide III and Vice Gov. Agnes Magpale led Capitol department heads at the inauguration of the facility where various skills and vocational training courses are to be held (https://www.cebu.gov.ph/news/p16-3-m-capitol-skills-training-center-opened-in-naga/).
The facility is a project of the Cebu provincial government and the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (Tesda).
While the provincial government provided the facility, TESDA will take care of the trainings for the beneficiaries.
The facility sits on an 896-square-meter lot inside the premises of the Agriculture Demo Farm in Barangay Inayagan.
Providing education and vocational training is in the Six-Key Development Agenda of the administration of Davide and Magpale.
