Handang-handa! Roxas City gov’t distributes relief good early
As early as Saturday, the Roxas City Government already released food aid to residents of Olotayan Island in preparation for the Tropical Storm “Auring.”
The island barangay has always been a concern during typhoons, said Mayor Ronnie Dadivas.
To make sure its residents have food, the city sent sacks of rice and canned goods. (https://bit.ly/3qG23dS)
The barangay council could also operate a soup kitchen, according to Dadivas.
Yesterday, Roxas City was placed under storm signal No. 1. Other barangays also prepared their evacuation centers, soup kitchens and relief goods.
