Gov Lacson to Yanson siblings: Solve your issues amicably
Negros Occidental Governor Eugenio Jose Lacson is urging the Yanson siblings to settle their dispute following the incident at the Ceres Bacolod South Terminal that has affected housands of travelers to southern Negros.
Roy and Leo Rey Yanson are fighting for control of the multi-billion peso Yanson Group of Bus Companies (YGBC), the country’s biggest bus conglomerate.
More than a month ago, Leo Rey was ousted by his four siblings Roy, Celina, Emily and Ricardo Jr., as YGBC president, a move he described as illegal. (https://dailyguardian.com.ph/guv-asks-yanson-siblings-to-settle-company-dispute/)
Lacson said he hopes the court would resolve the matter urgently as it has already affected the public.
“If it’s allowable there should be a speedy trial to resolve the issues.
“I’m calling on the family, don’t let this happen again because you assured us from the very beginning. Please solve your issues amicably,” the politiko added.
