Gov Cadiao warns public vs. illegal PAL recruitment
Antique Governor Rhodora Cadiao has warned the public of a fraudulent recruiter offering individuals jobs in Philippine Airlines.
The Evelio B. Javier Airport in San Jose town will become operational to commercial flights next month.
“I want to warn the young girls against the reported recruitment of some unscrupulous recruiters,” Cadiao, a retired PAL executive, said.
During a meeting with the management, the politiko learned that there will be no recruitment in the province as PAL will get hire personnel from its Iloilo and Manila offices.
“I was informed that in Bugasong and Patnongon there was a woman going around recruiting young girls,” she said, adding that prospective recruits are being offered a training fee of P700 per day in Manila.
Said illegal recruiter is using the name of former undersecretary Jose Lotilla of the then Department of Transportation and Communications.
