Garcia-Yulo: New isolation facility to open in November
Moises Padilla Mayor Ella Garcia-Yulo of Negros Occidental said the two-story isolation facility for coronavirus (Covid-19) patients will be completed in November.
The construction of the facility at Barangay 6 started in July.
The quarantine facility will have 14 rooms and has an allocation of P4 million sourced from the P11-million Bayanihan grant the town received from the national government, said Yulo.
According to her, the local government decided to build the facility to address the lack of quarantine centers in the province due to the recent upsurge of Covid-19 cases in the province.
The town, she added, has two quarantine centers and are on the verge of being filled up.
