Garcia inaugurates P65M road projects in Bantayan
Cebu Governor Gwendolyn Garcia on Saturday led the inauguration of four newly-concreted roads in Bantayan island.
Garcia and Fourth District Representative Janice Salimbangon inaugurated the newly-concreted roads in Barangays Sulangan and Ticad in Bantayan, Barangay San Agustin in Madridejos, and Barangay Maricaban in Santa Fe.
The projects cost P65 million that was taken from the province’s 2019 first supplemental budget. (https://bit.ly/348aOUX)
This is said to be a part of the first phase of the governor’s province-wide road concreting program.
Garcia also led the groundbreaking ceremony of three more road concreting projects, namely the Cogon-Cabac road, Phase 2 of Sulangan road stretch in Bantayan town, and Barangay Bunakan in Madridejos town.
The projects amount to P103 million.
