Free COVID test for persons with mild symptoms in Bacolod
The city government of Bacolod is offering free reverse transcription-polymerase chain reaction tests to individuals with mild symptoms similar to those of coronavirus disease (Covid-19).
Those experiencing body aches, flu, cold, cough, fever, headache, no sense of smell or taste, and difficulty of breathing can visit the Bacolod Respiratory Outpatient (BRO) center at the Bacolod Arts, Youth and Sports Center on San Juan Street, said the Emergency Operations Center (EOC) Task Force.
The BRO center is open for the testing of individuals from Monday to Friday, 8 a.m. to 12 noon. (https://bit.ly/36Nuhwc)
Those interested should contact the EOC hotline 432-2749.
The city government established the BRO center last April as a consulting facility for mild respiratory cases.
The center serves patients with respiratory conditions such as cough, nasal congestion, asthma, or flu. Volunteer doctors, nurses, and other healthcare professionals will be available at scheduled hours.
As of Wednesday, Bacolod had 4,266 confirmed cases of Covid-19, of which, 3,164 percent recovered and 94 died.
