Entire Cebu stays under Alert Level 2 till March 15

The whole island of Cebu will remain under Alert Level 2 until mid-March, according to Malacañang.

On Sunday, acting presidential spokesperson and Cabinet Secretary Karlo Nograles said that the Inter-Agency Task Force (IATF) for the Management of Emerging Infectious Diseases recommended the extension of Cebu’s Alert Level 2 status until March 15.

The IATF has also decided to downgrade Metro Manila to Alert Level 1 starting tomorrow, March 1. (https://bit.ly/3IvhdeH)

“The Inter-Agency Task Force on Sunday, February 27, 2022, approved placing the National Capital Region under Alert Level 1 effective March 1, 2022 until March 15, 2022,” Nograles said in a statement.
