Cebu City Councilor Dondon Hontiveros is finding ways to keep juvenile delinquents at the Operation Second Chance (OSC) productive.

Hontiveros, a former pro basketball star, visited the minors with the University of Cebu’s college basketball team over the weekend. They played a friendly match with the kids.

The chair of the education committee and scholarship program said he plans to meet with the new OSC administration to discuss their programs and interventions further. (https://tinyurl.com/mr2wbvf8)

The councilor is also looking into the possible implementation of TESDA training for them so that they have something to look forward to when they finally leave the OSC.

Earlier, Mayor Mika Rama ordered the relief of all OSC personnel after at least 30 children in conflict with the law escaped from the OSC last month.
