Defensor still trusts IPPO chief
Governor Arthur Defensor Jr. continues to have trust and confidence in Police Colonel Adrian Acollador, director of the Iloilo Police Provincial Office (IPPO), despite recent robberies and killings.
Defensor said that he is aware of the IPPO’s efforts to solve the crimes.
He monitors the progress of the investigations, according to him. (https://bit.ly/3DHgc3O)
The governor also praised the police for their successes in the fight against illegal gaming, illegal fishing, illegal drug use, illegal gambling, the capture of wanted criminals, and other sorts of criminality.
A reward system is only provided by the government when a crime affects the general public and if the suspect or suspects are viewed as high-value targets or members of the public enemy, added Defensor.
