Davide gets fresh mandate from Cebuanos
Incumbent Cebu Vice Governor Hilario Davide III will get another fresh term in office.
Davide was proclaimed as vice governor-elect by the Provincial Board of Canvassers Wednesday.
His wife Jobel, his father, former Chief Justice Hilario Davide Jr., his mother Virginia and other family members and workers witnessed the event. (https://bit.ly/3wlYiOF)
Davide garnered 788,081 votes, defeating his opponents Doc Tess Heyrosa who got 716,480 votes, and John Enad’s 52,784 votes.
The re-elected vice governor described the vice gubernatorial race as “good enough.”
Heyrosa congratulated Davide on his victory wishing him a good health and productive second term.
