Dadivas mulls P16.8M river promenade
The city government of Roxas will construct a river promenade along the Panay River.
“We continue to endeavour beautification activities and fill the city with greenery,” according to Mayor Ronnie Dadivas.
Dadivas did not say when the construction would commence. (https://bit.ly/362ExQb)
He, however, said the promenade would be 711.2 meters long and cost P16.8 million.
The fund would be sourced from the Local Government Support Fund or LGSF Assistance to Cities.
The promenade begins at San Roque Bridge towards Altavas Street and will continue to the portion of Washington Street until Juliano Alba Bridge and Premier de Mayo Street.
